My son, Elder Chal Petersen (from South Jordan, Utah - on the right) just arrived in Seattle last Tuesday, December 14th. His companion/trainer is Elder Rasmussen (from Parowan, Utah - on the left). They are assigned to the downtown Bellevue area, and will be working with a family ward and a Young Single Adult ward. Elder Rasmussen looks like a great missionary - and I'm so grateful.
I thought some of us (newer) moms would enjoy seeing a few pictures of this group while at the MTC. (It looks like he is still getting used to his camera) I wish I could pair names, hometowns, and faces - but you know how few details our missionaries give us ; ) Two of these elders have stayed in the MTC a bit longer for medical reasons.
They look like they are full of life and enthusiasm. My other five (grown) kids all commented that they remind them of a boy scout troop in Sunday clothes! That will change, I'm sure.
