Washington Seattle Mission

Hey moms,

I have put together a blog for the moms (families) of lds missionaries serving in the Washington Seattle Mission. I want to invite you all to visit this blog often. Please feel free to post pictures, updates and fun information about your missionaries or the area they are serving in . We can use this as an addition to the email list and really get a closeness with the families of all of the missionaries serving in Seattle. I would love to have any suggestions you may have to increase the effectiveness and usability of this site. Thanks all..

October Already!!?

Happy October!!

I am excited to say that we are all one month closer to seeing our wonderful missionaries!! Transfers have come again and wondering where/if your missionaries were transferred!!? As for us, Elder Suder was transferred back to Puyallup. This is the same area where he spent the first 9 months of his mission. He was delighted to be "back home" with so many wonderful, familiar faces. He is still the zone leader and is now serving with Elder Blea. (Is Elder Blea's mom out there?) He was also excited to be back with Elder Smith who is in another companionship but in the same area as well:)

Hope each of you had great letters from your missionaries and I look forward to hearing from each of you!! Only 13 Sundays till we get our phone call!!!! (Thank you Nanali for that reminder!)

Happy Fall:)

Kristi

just found this blog and would love to post some pictures we have. Elder Boice is in Soos Creek ward right now. I think it is the Renton area and that is about all I know. except his address is Kent. I forgot his comps name but he loves him. This is actually Stacey Boice but it comes up Scott Boice. I am not really tech savy but want to try

Elder Suder and Elder Blea are awesome! They are truly a blessing to my daughter and I. Elder Blea knocked on my door every day for two weeks and I never wanted to talk to him, I kept slamming the door in his face. Then I met my neighbors and started talking to them about the church. Then one evening Elder Blea and Elder Zolokowski came to my neighbors while I was there and they taught a lesson. Elder Blea asked me how God has blessed me and I started crying. From that day on, I have been getting taught by Elder Blea, Elder Suder and most recently Elder Willits. I now know the truth about the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS. I just got baptized on the 19th and am so greatful that Elder Suder, Elder Blea and Elder Willits were a part of this amazingly special day for me. To Elder Suder and Elder Blea's moms, know that your sons are awesome and my daughter and I love them very much! We are definitely going to miss them.
Sincerely,
Janyce M. Gallion
